DIRTcar Series Doubleheader postponed to Sunday, July 22nd!

Cornwall, Ont – Tuesday, June 5, 2012 – Martin Bélanger – Promoter Ron Morin and DIRTcar officials finally came to an agreement and postponed the DIRTcar Series Doubleheader to Sunday, July 22nd as both Sportsman and Pro-Stock will be in competition in 50-lap events.

The Sportsman race will be the inaugural event of the DIRTcar Series again as several contenders from Western Ontario and New-York will make the haul to Cornwall to compete against the best drivers from Eastern Ontario, New-York and Quebec.

With the postponement of June 3rd, the DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series will enter Cornwall with 2 events completed as this series will have traveled to Autodrome Granby and Drummond in early July for a 2-night doubleheader. Pushing Cornwall to third on the calendar might attract even more drivers from the French province as they might accumulate good results on their home turf against the invaders.

Adding this event in July will boost an already huge month at Cornwall as they will host the Super DIRTcar Big-Block series to start off the month, then Patriot Sprint Tour on July 15th and to cap-off July, the first visit of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car on July 29th.  Four big nights out of five at the speedway will bring up excitement and lots of action.
